MAC RiRi Woo Lipstick

A couple of weeks ago I made the impulse decision to buy the limited edition RiRi Woo lipstick Rihanna was releasing in conjunction with MAC. When I first saw the images of the lipstick before it's release I wasn't at all interested but I am glad that I bought it on impulse when it was released in the UK.

RiRi Woo Lipstick

The RiRi Woo lipstick was inspired by MAC's Ruby Woo which is a classic matte red lipstick which practically everyone in the world owns and loves. I on the other hand haven't had great luck with Ruby Woo and I have not worn it for years despite having it both in my make up collectipn and make up kit. RiRi Woo is very similar to Ruby Woo especially when looking at it in the packaging however when swatched there is a very slight difference between the two lipsticks. RiRi Woo has a slightly darker undertone to it but it's not that noticeable. I on the other hand notice this very minute difference and appreciate it as I think it works well with my skin tone.

I never keep up with any of MAC's collections as I am not too fussed with limited edition items however I am now eager to get my hands on a few other items from the Rihanna collaboration especially the Heaux & RiRi Boy lipsticks.

  1. I got this lipstick as well and i find it smoother and creamier than the ruby woo, also not as drying. I wasnt a fan of the ruby woo at all

  2. RiRi Woo has really grown on me. I was sceptical at first, but now I love it!
