YOU - Deep Therapy Repair Treatment

Price £8.99

YOU is a new range from the Luster's brand and I was introduced to it by my hair stylist when I was complaining to her about my hair shedding excessively from damage from having my hair in weaves and from colour. YOU Deep Therapy Repair Treatment is for dry and damaged hair that is over worked, colour treated and for flaky scalps.

'YOU REPAIR, is infused with Cholesterol, Carrot Oil, Olive Oil, Indian Hemp, Rosemary Extract, Rose Hips, Nettle Extract & Vitamin E'

Before I started using this treatment my hair was very dry and shedding all the time and everywhere I looked was trails of my hair which I was not used to at all as my hair is usually generally healthy. I have been using this treatment for about 4 months after washing my hair and I have noticed a big difference to my hair, the shedding has practically gone.

I use this product use as a deep treatment on my hair every 2 weeks where I leave it on my hair after washing for over an hour and sometimes I sit under the dryer with a shower cap on to give it a deeper treatment. If I am in a rush I also put it on my hair for a quick condition for about 15 minutes. If you have damaged or dry hair I would recommend this product as it has saved my hair especially after I tried so many other treatments from bigger brands that didn't work.

I bought this treatment from my Hair Salon - Hype Coiffure, who stock the YOU product range but it can also be bought from most Afro Hair suppliers such as PAK Cosmetics who sell it online here.

New Hair

As usual I got bored of my short hairstyle and decided I wanted to have some hair so my bestie/hair stylist and I decided on a middle parting bob weave.

I am not sure how long i'll keep this style for but for now I am happy with the outcome...well until I get bored again.

NOTD: Revlon Scented Polish- Mad About Mango

On my nails right now is Revlon's scented polish, Mad About Mango. It is a nice orange colour and smells a bit like a tropical/bubblegum mix rather than just mangoes. I'm not complaining as it is a nice scent however it only lasts a for about a day then its back to normal and I do find the concept of smelling my nails slightly weird but I like it.

My Bestie's 25th Birthday

Last weekend was my bestie's aka Marie (check out her hair blog) 25th Birthday so I spent a few days with her celebrating.

On the Friday we went  for a pre-birthday dinner with her family at an Italian restaurant called Sergio's not far from Oxford Street. I am a big lover for Italian and Chinese food and this has got to be one of my favourite Italian restaurants, the food there is really good with massive portions.

Here are the pics from the night:

Holiday Buys

I got back last week from a great holiday to the Costa Del Sol in Spain, Marbella to be exact and I really loved it there, the weather, food & beaches were just bliss. I will put up some pics in a separate blog post soon but here are the few things I picked up on my travels.

Marc Jacobs - Lola

100ml £50 - Duty Free

I finally bought a bottle of Lola which has been on my wish list for months. I intended to buy it from Boots with my advantage points but it was a bargain from duty free at Gatwick airport.

Pure Moroccan Argan Oil

Apprx 30ml for 5 euros each

I have been hearing so much about argan oil recently that while on a day trip to Morocco I made a point to make sure I came back with some. I bought 6 bottles of it but after giving a few away as gifts I now have 2 and I am already wishing I bought more.

Leather Saddle Bag

15 euros

I bought in the market in Morocco and after bargaining with the seller I managed to get it for half the price he initially told me but i'm sure I could have got it cheaper if I wasn't in such a rush.

As you can see I kept my shopping to a minimum which was mainly due to the fact I bought so much holiday items before I went away.
